BIG Boat Ride

To celebrate Taylor's (Courtney and Scotts daughter) 3rd birthday they came to our house (they are in the process of moving and their house isnt really conducive to company right now) and had cake and presents. After we finished up here we all went out on their new boat (a 37 foot Grady White! I think I'm in love and I know John is!)

The girls set up a play area with all of their princess toys and played wonderfully.

SURPRISE!!!!

Planning a surprise party for John's 30th was probably one of the most torturous things I have ever had to do. He knew I was planning something and for about a month has been putting his 2 cents in about things he wanted, who he wanted there, etc... Well, after finally telling him that I was over it and nothing was being planned he started minding his own business.
I arranged for the kids to spend the night at my mom's house (but didnt tell John they would be sleeping there). So, the night of his party we left to drop them off at my mom's house for dinner and then went to the Ale House for a drink (all while Amanda was at our house setting up and friends were arriving). After we left the Ale House I handed him a gift bag- in the bag was a beer mug that had a cheesy quote about being 30 on it (it said: Cheers to 30 Years!) and we headed home for his party! It was so much fun having all of our friends together hanging out and not worrying about waking sleeping kids :) But, by the end of the night I was really starting to miss my munchkins :)

Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

John is NOT at all a fan of birthdays but this year he didn't seem to mind as much as in the past (22 was a rough age for him -haha!) We did a small celebration just the four of us for him.

John's "old people" gifts from Andrea- nothing like denture bath, fixodent, and diapers!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Since John is not a fan of Valentines Day I celebrate with the kids.

We had homemade heart shaped donuts for breakfast.
