Michael is very busy crawling all over the house lately. He's gotten into the dog food numerous times this week so the gate has returned on the opening to the kitchen (Lauren does NOT like the gate!). Tonight he found Lauren's swimmy she dropped between the couch and the end table and of course he had to get it and got stuck. This is how I found him.

Michael's 1st Haircut
Who would have thought Michael would need a haircut before Lauren who was close to bald for most of her first year`! Michael on the other hand had hair that was out of control and needed some serious work!
On our way to the Snipedy Do Dahs
Ready for his haircut
Look at how long that section of hair was
(this section was one of the main reasons his hair needed to be cut)
He's had enough!
Nothing a toy can't fix
Almost done....
This is how Alex stayed entertained while his Mommy took pictures for me.
All done! So handsome!

Such A Big Boy
The past few days have been filled with accomplishments for Michael. He just started really crawling a few days ago and tonight he pulled himself up for the first time! I couldn't believe it, I really thought we had another few weeks at least before he would do it. It was almost bedtime and we were all playing in the living room, Michael saw Johns feet on the ottoman (he currently has a thing for feet!) and up he went! I'm so proud of him and sad he's getting big so fast at the same time!
MY BIG BOY!
A Day At The Park
We spent the morning at Patch Reef Park today, it was the first time Michael was actually able to play at a park. He had a blast! We got a late start to the morning (we actually let Michael take his entire morning nap at home today and then ran to whole foods before the park). We had lunch at the park (good thing the kids don't mind cold pizza and veggies b/c that's what I packed). The park has a water area, which was pretty much empty so Michael could crawl around and splash in the small puddles. We go here often and Lauren really enjoys it too!

Our 1st Trip to Friendly's for Ice Cream
2 adults, 5 children...3 in highchairs! People must have thought we were crazy. Amanda and I decided to take the kids to Friendly's today for ice cream (everyone was getting ice cream except for Michael of course. I'm not sure his belly can handle ice cream yet with the milk issues he has had. But, he was along for the adventure!). Lauren LOVES ice cream.. shes a lot like me!
Michael had his own snack (baby mum mums!)
Yummmmmm... ice cream!
Lauren loves ice cream so much she couldn't leave any in the bowl!
All in all it was a very successful trip to Friendly's. Everyone was on their best behavior... I was sure with 5 kids (by the way the ages were....8, 3, 20 months, 16months, and 7 months) we were destined to have at least one have a meltdown in the middle of the restaurant but I was wrong!
